Wedding Photography

The Wedding photographs are often the

culmination of a wedding, tying everything

together from the wedding flowers, to the

wedding dress and everything in between.

One of the most important piece of advice

is to chose the right photographer for you.

You photographer should fully understand

how you want your wedding to be captured

on film. Ensure that you are familiar with

his work, look through his portfolio, and his

style of photography and ensure that you

are comfortable with that style. For example

if you a looking for a traditional wedding with a traditional photography and his is by and large contemporary - is this the right photographer for you?

You also need to be very comfortable around the photographer and trust him 100%. The photographer will be taking photographs of the most important and memorable moments of your life. If he is too pushy, or intitidatating it could spoil an otherwise perfect day. You should like and trust your photographer completely so as to have a relaxed and enjoyable wedding day.

A great tip is to provide a disposable wedding camera on all the tables at the formal sit down meal, or more informal reception (or both). This will give you a set of pictures that will capture the essence of your wedding day from your guests perspective, and provide images that the photographer could never achieve.

If you are on a strict budget, inexpensive photography can be achived in several ways.

Word of mouth is the most essential tool you can use to find those wedding services you want at a budget that works for you. Talk to friends or acquaintances that have held weddings similar in size and scope to what you’re planning to determine what vendors worked successfully within their budget.

Have a look at the venue where you are holding your wedding reception. Clearly, reception sites host a variety of weddings throughout the year; they often have access to quality photographers who offer affordable services.

Wedding planners can often pay for themselves with the money they save you in purchase fees. Because wedding planners work with photographers frequently, they often have established relationships that will save you money in the end.

But when it comes to affordable wedding photography, sometimes limiting the services you require rather than choosing a low-priced photographer will help you stay within your budget restrictions. If you have your heart set on a particular photographer that does beautiful work then compromise to get to the price that you need.

Ultimately, affordable wedding photography is about creativity and flexibility. If you think of small ways to save money, eventually those small steps will add up to big savings.
